I've just ordered an Epson V750 (finally) as well as the betterscanning mounting station. I'm just going through trying to find the rest of the supplies I'll need to get going.

On the betterscanning website they recommend Pitman as a reasonably-priced KAMI supplier (https://www.pitman.com/storefrontCommerce/home.do) but they don't seem to have it in their inventory, and they haven't yet responded to my inquiry.

Does anyone out there know where I might be able to order it online (or purchase in person around Seattle) - so far I'm turning up nothing but dead ends.

I'm open to alternate materials too (Prazio, maybe Lumina), but would prefer the Kami if possible.

Thanks!

touché

I was under the impression that ordering from Aztek wasn't all that cost effective ($45+shipping) and that Pitman, for example, was more reasonable (which is irrelevant if they don't stock it any more).

Aztek has a kit of all you need for the v700/750. I have mine now (and a betterscan holder) and will be trying it out tonight. Check out their website.

I got my supplies from this company earlier this year. Their mylar was much cheaper than from Aztec and Kami was a bit less as I remember. Hazmat shipping is NOT cheap so get a full cost before ordering from either.

For others who may later be looking for a source as well, I eventually placed my order through PrePress Express:
http://store.prepressexpress.com/category.php?id_category=57

$35.99 and $15 shipping. Seemed to be about the best deal going, and I found them helpful all around. (I haven't received it yet, it's en route, but don't expect any issues).

/probably posted this in the wrong group - my apologies.
