I'm in the process of trying to get my 1950s VN Press Camera back into working order.
The shutter mechanism works but the fabric of the shutter blinds has become very stiff and crinkled and needs to be replaced.
The focal plane shutter has a number of different tensions and variable slid widths to adjust shutter speeds from 1/10 to 1/1000 second.
Has anyone tackled a focal plane shutter like this before? Apparently it is a descendant of the Goerz camera so that may or may not be relevant.
