Would be interested in your experience and recommendations for a B&W fiber-based, double weight variable contrast (or graded) paper to use for printing portraits.
More specifically, I am wanting a heavy FB paper with a no-sheen, flat matte having the finish and texture of suede or fine grit sand paper.
If no such paper is now on the market, could a dull matte paper be employed with an at-home manual application of a suede/sand paper gritty finish matting agent, something with a lot of tooth to the finish, but not like art paper used for water color painting.
Thoughts, recommendations?
Thanks.
