Ph/300 Enlarging Lamps

Hi,does anyone know of anyone who has a few of the above Enlarging lamps? They are for my Omega F Condenser Enlarger,I live in England

Is your bulb 120V or 220V?

Hi Terry,doesnt matter for I would get a voltage transformer to reduce voltage from 220volt to 110 volts. The size of these lamps which I have a couple which I got from America,(they dont have anymore) Size 7.50" x 3.50".

Wow - pricey bulbs! Can you use PH/213 bulbs in there? Those can be had for a few bucks still, instead of $203.

These cheap bulbs are not opal and they have printing on the top, but for less than ten bucks I'd think one could figure a way to treat the top. For example, maybe grinding the glass with the same compound used to make ground glass, could even out the light so its as good as an opal lamp. I think size-wise they are similar to the ph300.

Looking at these bulbs at B+H PHOTO are the same size as the PH/300 ok,,half ince less but near enough. Trouble is they are 500 Watt,they look frosted as well.
