Will Two 86mm Filters on a CF Vignette?

A project requires me to use two filters in addition to a CF on my Rodenstock Grandagon 55mm.

The CF is a Schneider IIIc, with an 86mm front thread. I assume, that since it is threaded for an 86mm that one will not vignette, but I have my doubts about two.

Any experiences appreciated.

I am aware of the other options, such as Lee filters, but am only interested in the experiences of someone who has tried two 86mm filters.

Have you thought about putting the second filter behind the lens? And if the 2nd filter is larger than the rear element, it won't vignette.

Thanks. Yes, S.K. Grimes makes a nice slip-on holder, which is what I will go with behind the lens if two 86's are out.

I could always go to 95 or 105 in front but for the filters I need that is a bit too pricey!
