I have a scan of a b&w medium format neg for which I would like to print a very high quality, "gallery" 11x14 print.

Any suggestions for what lab I should go to?

why dont u print it in the darkroom?

otherwise,

griffin editions is pretty much as good as it gets in black and white. and i would reccomend you have them print it traditionally..thats what sugimoto does... although they do digital as well.

LTI is also top notch. Gotham is good but not as well reknowned as the other 2.

Of course, I love traditional prints, but for this image I want to use the scan I have _if_ I can get the quality in the print that I am looking for.

Thanks for those suggestions. Will check them out!

Thanks very much, gave him a call also, but got the machine and left a message.

I now have discussed with both Griffin Editions and Diallo Photography, and they were both very friendly and helpful. I'm going to try Amadou on this print and go from there.

Wanted to follow up on this...

Amadou was amazingly friendly and helpful, and he produced an absolutely gorgeous print for me.

I will definitely be using his services again!
