11x14 Lenses Wanted

Hello,

Great to find this site!

I'm taking a step up from full plate size to make some wet plate portraits at 11x14 and am on the look out for lenses.

I'm hoping to find a period brass lens with an aperture of f4 or f5.6 if possible. I'm looking for anything that will work - it doesn't have to be pretty.

I'd also like a smaller, wider landscape lens.

Does anyone on here know of any dealers or places I could look?

I'm hooked up on the wet plate forum and have posted there as well.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Contact Jim Galli on this forum. He has a team of time traveling aliens that mine old glass. also Eddie, while not in league with LGM he often has glass that you desire.

Old glass is often very dangerous though. Not because it can be sometimes low level radioactive, oh no, it is dangerous because one is never enough.
