Dear all,

I'm quite new to large format photography, but I have already a bunch
of 4x5 frames that I would like to store. Up to now, they lie in a empty
film box, but I feel this is not the right method in terms on long time storage
(it will be difficult to review the negatives in each box, the negatives at the
bottom of the box will be more difficult to reach, etc). If possible, I would like
to find some plastic or paper sleeves, like the ones I use to keep my 35mm
or 6x6 films, but I can't find them locally (Barcelona). Does anyone know
if such a thing exists and if it's available through the web?

Best,
Pau

If you Google "printfile photo sleeves" you should find several sources. It would be a matter of selecting one to ship to you.

Pau - Keeping them in sleeves is a good start. You'll also want to protect them from extreme temperatures, humidity and dust. I like to use binder boxes from http://www.lightimpressionsdirect.com though any product which is labeled as archival is ok. Make sure the sleeves are archival, or they may end up damaging the negatives.
