View Full Version : Exhibition prints - European-based recommendations?

There are some useful links in the recent 'Print on Demand' books threads to US-based fine art printers - for example, Booksmart (http://www.booksmartstudio.com/services/view/2_fine-edition-printing), or Magnolia (http://www.magnoliaeditions.com/pages/AboutPrint.htm), looked particularly interesting to me.

Any recommendations for a European-based printer - ideally close to north-west Switzerland - that offers a similar kind of service and is capable of producing exhibition quality prints - probably 16x20 or 20x24 in size, but possibly larger? I presume inkjet is the most viable process?

I've not used them myself, hence my delay in posting, but this lab in Düsseldorf is widely recommended, and has in impressive client list: www.hsldigital.de.

Thanks, Struan. Looks interesting. I have received some interesting PMs as well, but it would be ideal to find somewhere close to home so that travel wasn't an issue in checking quality or consistency.

David,

I officially live in Avenches and my girlfriend lives in Züri, but I spend most of my time in France. If you find something, please send along a link or some other type of info. You mention you've received a few PMs, but that doesn't help others.

Cheers,

Johnny
