I have some old boxes with Polapan 100 an 55, but the chemicals in the enveloppe are dry.
Does anyone know how to get theses old pack film 'alive' again?

Thanks

Once the chemicals dry out, that's it for them.

With Type 55, you can expose as usual, then develop the film (negative) in a darkroom just like regular B&W negative film, which it is. So the Type 55 doesn't have to be a total loss.

I use Microdol X as I use to with Panatomic X, with 2/3 the rated ASA for the Type 55. You'll have to do a couple of tests to nail it depending on the age of the film. But the density scale is not too sensitive to age if you're within maybe 10 years of expiration.
