Check eBay completed sales. There have been several sold lately.

Cheers, Steve

Thanks. Will do. I know that you would have to special-order it from the co. for about $5000, since it is no longer produced.
All best, PJ

probably somewhere in the neighborhood of this one (http://www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,16364.html) for sale at MPEX

$5,000??? That sounds like dollar signs dancing in someones head. My old B&H Sourcebook has it at $3,299. Brand new, legal import, papers etc. That MPEX price looks about right and buying from Jim is a safe deal too. Private sale should be cheaper.

Thanks for the comments. I checked MPEX earlier, and they do not have a Grandagon to sell. They are offering a Fotomat 410 body with lens cone. They list which lenses it would accept, but at the bottom of the add it says " no lens"
I am offering my mint lens for $3000, with lens board and special adapter for shutter cable.
BSRGDS to all, PJ

Calumet UK lists it new at 3818 pounds (which converts to $5950 US.)

Thank you, Jon, By coincidence I just found the same site a few moments ago. It is now obvious that my lens is a steal.

One of my sponsors received a note from the Santa Monica museum, that they will be exhibiting one of my 44x55" images of Yosemite this fall. Check it out if you get a chance, all best, PJ

Perhaps you would now like to start a thread in the classifieds section? where no offense but at that price I would expect it not to sell for months.

Thank you, Sanchi
In my previous post I mistakenly said Santa Monica, when I meant to say Santa
Barbara. Sorry, Philip

Thanks for the suggestion, Clive. I am conflicted, because it reminds me that I've gotten to an age where it is increasingly hard to travel around with heavy equipment.
My lenses are 155, 240,355, 450 and 800mm.

Normaly this lenses go for around 1300-1800USD used!

Ditto, these never sell close to their retail price and it's a slow market. It's a thread that belongs in the For Sale section even if you aren't actively selling it, as it's poised to invite inquiries without coming right out and admitting it's for sale.

Sal & Frank, Thanks for the good advice. I probably sound naive because I have never sold anything.
