I found a Protar ,Serial Number is 871370,but I didn't know production year from some reference .The reference as follows:

S.N Year
722,196-798,251 1927
903,100-908,150 1928

Only no 871370.

Yes but who made the Protar, and what type, Zeiss licenced the designs. As you've given Zeiss dates presumably it's a Zeiss lens, so somewhere around 1927-8.

I have a Ross Air Ministry WA Protar from WWI. 151mm and covers 10x8.

Thank you IanG!This lens was Carl Zeiss Jean 1:18 f=18cm.

That's the next FL up from my Ross 151mm f16 version which doesn't carry the usual Zeiss Patent etc as it was made during WWII and Ross had taken over the London Zeiss factory, and ceased paying royalties.

Ross got a fraction more speed out of the design f16 instead of f18.
Your lens will easily cover 10x8, and compared to a 165mm or 210 Super Angulon it's like the hero out of Gullivers Travels, or The Incredible Shrinking Man, Tiny :D
