I bought a Durst 138, and 1 of the lenses that came with it was the Rodenstock Apo Gerogon 210mm F9, can this be used as a camera lens, if so what copal shutter would it use.

It is a process lens and will not fit directly into a shutter. You would need to have adapters made to mount it.

The Apo-Gerogons are Rodenstock's competition for Schneider's G-Clarons. They are very, very similar in design and performance characteristics, except as noted, unlike most G-Clarons, they don't fit directly in shutters.

I have a 300 and 360 Gerogons that I use as camera lenses. No shutter needed. Just a lens cap. I use the 360 on the 8x20 and it covers great and is sharp as hell. The 300 is good on my 8x10 and 11x14.

I think that will be the way for me to go, I don't want to waste the money on an adaption kit.
