My presoak water always turns a nice blue color with FP4+ and TMY-2. Last night I dumped it into a translucent white plastic jug, followed by my used single-shot developer (DK76b, a D-76 variant I use 1+1). As I added the developer I could see the blue coloration vanish, with the resulting liquid mixture essentially colorless.
Any idea what the reaction is?
