What can I say, same story as everybody else...

Well actually I'm a young photographer (23) that became really serious with digital, then 35mm, now I'm shooting MF and soon I hope to be shooting LF.

Right now I'm interested in press-type cameras, something with a Rangefinder so that I can still capture "action" shots so to say.

Mostly interested in shooting B&W with my only color working being Velvia 50. I can and have developed B&W film but little experience with prints yet. Most likely will be sending my negatives to my lab anyway.

I would also like to learn alternative processes though, as I have zero experience with them.

That's all I got!

Welcome to group therepy, Nick. :) Lots of us started out with press cameras and got lots of use out of them...my first LF was a Busch Pressman, then I've been thru several Graphics and still have a Super Graphic that does duty as a field camera when I don't want or need to use the monorail view camera. I think you'll find that they work fine hand-held, but leave a lot to be desired for shooting action...some MF and pretty much all 35mm cameras are better suited for that use, even though many action shots have been taken thru the years with press cameras. But those big negatives and slides are wonderful things!

That's one of the great things about digital, it's bring lots of folks back to film. Welcome.
