Please can someone tell me, are the Jobo 2551 and 2563 tanks effectively the same?
I'm wanting a tank to load 2 x 2509N reels (each for 6 sheets of 4x5) and thought it was a 2551 tank I needed.
However I've seen a used 2563 that looks pretty well identical.
Thanks for any advice.

The 2551 (Jobo MultiTank 5) is the smaller one for 2 2509N-reels. The slightly larger 2561/2563 (called MultiTank 6) will hold 6 reels with 35mm-film or 4 reels with 120/220-film. But 3 2509N, if loaded with 4x5-sheets, won't fit in - according to the Jobo-manual.

Thanks George, so that sorts that out! Back to the search for a 2551 then.

The 2563 will hold 2 2509N reels or 12 sheets of 4x5. I own one or two.

What I meant to say is that the 2561/2563 will hold 12 4x5-sheets - just like the 2551/2553. The 2561/2563 needs just a bit more chemistry to do so.
If you want to develop larger quantities of 35mm/120/220 too the larger 2561/2563 could be the better choice.
Sorry for my confusing english.
