This may be a slightly silly question, so I apologize in advance....

I recently bought a used Schneider Super-Angulon 90mm lens from a local camera s tore. When I bought it, I noticed a little switch on the lens that could be set to either 'X' or 'M'. The guy who was helping me thought it had something to d o with the flash sync, but wasn't totally sure.

Can anyone who has this lens or knows about it enlighten me?

Thanks a lot!

Jason

"M" is for flash bulb synronization with the shutter and "X" is for electronic flash synchronization with the shutter.
