Greetings:

I'm arranging a business trip to Quebec City next month. I was planning to take a selection of my 4x5 LF and MF cameras and film for some after-work hours photo shoots. Some of the film is high speed and very sensitive so I would like to avoid sending it through security x-ray scanners on the way back. My recollection from previous trips is they are not hand inspection-friendly at the Quebec City airport.

Anyone know if there's a lab there in town that can handle my E6, C41, and B&W infrared film processing?

I suspect probably not but it doesn't hurt to ask. Many thanks. BG

Hi,
There isn't a lab in Montreal I would trust anymore for consistent colour processing, so I don't know about the odds of finding one in Quebec City.
Having said that, you might be able to send your film to Champion in Montreal, and arrange to have them send it to you back home. At the very least, they may know of a lab in QC.

Ari:

A shame the way things are going with processing labs isn't it? But about what I expected.

If nothing in Quebec City then I'll probably hand carry through security and hope for the best. My last trip to Toronto I sent everything back UPS Ground which worked out but cost me a bundle.

Still looking if anyone knows. Cheers. BG
