I have just bought a Creo/Kodak IQsmart3 scanner. It comes without software and calibration slide. I have found a source for the sw but I still need the calibration slide. I have contacted Genesis, but they do not have the slide. I do have the slide for a Scitex Eversmart Pro, but since the registration pins are different, I do not think it will work. Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Philip,

I would suggest that you call the Kodak Response Center and set up an account with them. Purchase the correct calibration slide directly from them. While you are at, purchase some spare bulbs for the future.

I was under the impression that the calibration slide is specific each scanner made. That what i was told when purchased mine and had it installed. I was warned NOT to lose it.

I have the IQSmart 2 and the calibration slide has the scanners serial number on it. However, I do not think that getting a replacement will be a problem. Try Marc Jacques, Kodak inside Sales, at (800)929-9209.
