Unfortunately, this is a question that needs re-asked every month or two...

Can anyone recommend a good B&W processor for 4x5 and 8x10? I plan to scan the negs.

For some reason I'm finding it difficult to get the negs done at home--since I'm only doing negs I don't have a dedicated space--major pain to get them done. And the dust!

Anyone offering this as a side business?

I'd look at Praus Productions (in New York). I've never done business with them but, have thought about it a lot. Don't bother to email the info@.... email address. They don't seem to answer that one. I guess I'd check the web site and call directly if necessary.

Interesting place. Hand, tray processing and a choice of developers (D-76, HC-100, Rodinal & Xtol)--wow! A choice of non-standard developers ("Microdol, Pyro, FG7 and most commercially available developers"). No charge for push/pull...$5.50 for 4x5, $11 for 8x10, with standard developers, a buck or two more for non-standard.

This is the one the beat, so it seems. Any other suggestions?
