Wondering what the lensboard hole size is for the 50-60s era Schneider 240/4.5 Xenar lens in a compound shutter? Assume the most popular common Compur shutter, not some oddball mount. Thanks

Also, not having used a compound shutter in years, the rule is never to cock it when set to "B" and "T" right? Everything else is normal except you only get 1/100th on the high end?

No it isn't that bad, the filter size is only 67mm.

I thought that Ole had a site that cataloged all the compound shutter size info...might try to find one of his posts and follow a link in the signature line...

This explains how not to break your compound shutter: http://www.skgrimes.com/compound/index.htm

This has pictures of the shutters so you can guess the size:

Compounds all use the same size cylinder, so as the shutter gets bigger, the cylinder seems smaller, which can help you figure out the size.

That's a Compound IV I believe - and yes, see the thread with the post linked to in my signature line.
