I would like to see how they render color!

Thanks,
Matthew

Matthew, the Apo-Skopar is a realy apochromatic corrected lens intended for graphic arts work. A razor-sharp lens with perfect color rendition. I'm using my 150mm Apo Skopar not only for reproductions but also for landscapes. But the image circle is big enough for 4x5" with some movement. See also here (http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/voigtlander_2.html).

Thanks, I had seen that. I guess I just wanted to see how it looked compared to modern plasmats; especially it's color rendition and out of focus areas.

Is it reasonable to expect that it will act similarly to heliar, except slower and apo chromatically corrected?

Similar to other graphic art lenses like the Apo Ronar etc.

Ah well, I guess that would have been too good to be true!
