I remember reading something about being able to remove the brass trim (temporarily!) from the Schneider Fine Art 550 XXL lens but I can't find the posts. Anyone know? Thanks.

No, I'm not putting my name on it, just curious about the weight with the brass off. How is it done? There's no reference on the page above...:confused:

Um...welll....gulp...I...um ....desrve one...kinda...I bought it used...I'll also frown the whole time I use it, trying hard not to smile at its incredible beautiful lensiness...:D
