Hi:
Trying to figure out how to disassemble the shutter from a polaroid 110a camera. How do you remove the front and rear elements. Then the disassembly from there?
thanks for your help.

I just yesterday did this on three of the Prontor SVS Pola shutters. Remove the lenses that is.

I went to the local pharmacy and bought a set of the large Crutch tips. The small end of the large crutch tip is just right for both front and rear cells of the Rodenstock Ysarex 127. Hold the shutter in my right palm. Put the small end of the crutch tip against the lens rims. Twist the crutch tip CCW and had all the cells out in 5 minutes.

The crutch tips cost me about $5. They have them in various sizes. The one's that worked measure 2 inches across the big end, and 1 inch across the small end.. the end that goes against the lens ring.
