Finally I'll get to use that Deardorff that came with "just a few pinholes...just drape your dark cloth over the bellows before pulling the dark slide". If you ever read an ad like this, just assume that you're gonna have to spring for a new bellows.

Long story...suffice to say this camera has been nothing but a disappointment for me. It is a beautiful camera but, because of the light show going on inside the bellows, I was never able to make a decent image with it. I gave up on it and just put it away in the back of the closet. I bought a ratty old Kodak 2-D with a decent bellows and have been shooting it ever since.

A few weeks ago, I came across the forlorn Deardorff in the closet. I had a little extra money so, I ordered a new bellows....it arrived today. I am hopeful.

Why did they not install the front and rear framework?

Custom Bellows always do a great job of attaching bellows to frames if you send the frames.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

With the exchange rates as they are you can't really go wrong.
Hope that it all works out well Brad. I'm still using the B&J and loving it.
Pete.
