I may have a job to have a B&W 4x5 negative print larger than 20X24. Does anyone have a recommendation for a service/lab that can do larger sizes? Preferably in New England. I have contacted Digital Silver Imaging, a good company to work with, and their equipment is limited to 20X24. In a perfect world the preference would be to end up with silver gelatin prints

I would like to follow the 4X5 aspect ratio of the negative and product an image that 30-40 inches width by ??? length. I need to determine what size can be produced at what cost then quote the client.

Talk to Bob Carnie at Elevator Digital in Toronto. They are set up to do very large silver gelatin printing, and digital printing as well.

If you're still looking, see if Bernard Hoffmann in NYC is still in business.

Check Adox and Fomaspeed in the Freestyle catalog. They are listed as available in 42" rolls.

A good lab should be able to obtain these materials and work with you.
