Here's my question:

Has anyone printed boards, such as a 4-ply Bristol, using a manual feed for said printer? I am not interested in photo-image printing, more about printing titles and text. Think museum-type caption cards. So far I have found very little info on feeding thicker media through the 4000. Have used a flexible 2-ply, but have not attempted a rigid 4-ply or thicker. Any thoughts?

You might have a lot less trouble using transparent labels, which you can print in your Epson, or in a laser printer. You can peel-n-stick them on your Bristol or mat board, without endangering your printer with thick, rigid stock.

Go to www.avery.com, and use the term "clear" in their search box. They have a zillion different sizes of address labels for this sort of purpose.
