Saw that the other day on DPR.The only problem I see with these is doing landscapes with near far relationships. Think Ansel's Mt. Williamson and Monument Valley shots with the near rocks and distant mountains/monuments. If the camera could figure out the focus for the nearest object and the furthest object for each frame of the pano/mosaic, and shoot incremental shots for focus blending before moving on to the next frame of the pano/mosaic, then we would have something worth writing home about :D

I think Ansel just tilted his lens board forward a bit. A lot easier. KFry
