A long-time 35mm, MF and DSLR user (amateur with occasional jobs that help finance equipment), film in general, shallow dof, full control and perfect quality have always attracted my attention. Now, with my kids having found deep interest in photography too, I have decided to take the plunge. No camera yet, need to learn first, but it won't be long now. This forum has been of great help, I have found lots of information as a guest, now I hope that over time I will be able to give something back.

We have a Print Exchange (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?t=57711) every year beginning in January -- keep it in mind as you get more involved with the LF equipment. A great opportunity for learning and receiving some wonderful prints. :)
