Hi I first of all I dont know if this is in the right section but I have some important quesitons regaurding duratrans. I work at a pretty big studio where we have about 40 room sized sets and behind every set we have to set up a duratran behind the window or door that is a picture of trees, cities, ocean ect. I am really fed up using the duratrans because I dont think they are safe to use because of the way they are put on poles. I have watched peoples hands get smashed and the poles fall over and I have watched them hurt are just about hurt people many times. Our digital department swares they cannot put a digital background behind the sets which I think is bull**** so I was wondering what are some alternatives to duratrans? and is it really that hard to put a digital background in place of the duratran or is the digital department just saying that to cut out their work?
