I have an odd question (to me at least)

I have just finished off my first box of 8x10 Tri-X (new format, for me) and developed all of it. I am a little surprised that it does not say KODAK 320 TXP on the edge. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong, maybe? Do other films have edge markings in 8x10 or is it uncommon for that size?

I do see those markings on 4x5, without fail.

Hi David,

The 8x10 TriX has no markings but the 4x5 does.
I know Kodak has a reason for it but i cant remember it off the top of my head.
Tmax 100 has markings in 4x5 and 8x10.

How did the 8x10's come out?

It came out fine. I am using BTZS tubes, but mostly using rodinal stand / semi-stand developing. The only problem is pouring in the dark. I use a developing tray to catch any overflow.

So far, I have not moved the camera out of my apartment. Just test shots.
