View Full Version : Less-diluted chemicals for shorter processing times

I want to use up my stock of still undiluted liquid B&W Agfa Neutol paper developer and unmixed Agfa Acidofix powder fixer in a continuous processing machine. The transit time for each bath is only 100 seconds, whereas the recommended processing time for this fixer with paper is up to 10 minutes at 68F. I can adjust the temperature but not the transit time on my machine, so I'm wondering if anyone has any experience in using these or other chemicals prepared with less water than recommended so as to make them more potent and thereby usable with shorter times. Also, could these stronger chemicals have any harmful affect on the paper?
Cheers
Bert
