Bad news for lLF photographers wanting to access many AZ state parks....

The state park with the iconic view of Sedona River and buttes is one that is closing...this url shows the image (not my image)

Other notable AZ state parks that are closing include:
Homolovi Ruins (Winslow)
Yuma Territorial Museum (Yuma)
Picacho Peak (between Gila Bend and Tucson - outstanding views from the summit)
Natural Bridge (Tonto)
Lost Dutchman (no loss unless you were RV'ing as this area is easily photographed from the road without entering the state park grounds).

Notably staying open
Boyce Thompson (separately managed by another organization)
Slide Rock (E. Coli city in the summer from all the kids in the slow moving water ;-)
Dead Horse Ranch (Cottonwood)- notably good views of the Tuzigoot next door.
Karchner Caverns

Sad news due to state park budget cuts.

Good to know. I'll have to plan a trip back up to the Tonto Natural Bridge before it closes. I'm sure this is just temporary till funds manifest, maybe a year or two. With some volunteers tho they could open on weekends.

Lets hope it's temporary.
