I have a 40 x 50 inch print that I made when I worked at a big lab. Friends in the mounting department put it on gatorfoam and put a clear laminate over the top.

Years of grungy living have made their mark on the surface of the laminate. What's the best way to clean it? the buildup seems a little too greasy for water to make a dent in, but I don't want to cause any harm with the wrong kind of cleaner.

While I can't know what type of laminate is on your print, I use Seal hot laminates at work. When adhesive or stray lamination gets on the surface when mounting I use either film cleaner, Anchor graphic arts type, or alcohol.
