So, I have some old wooden contact printing frames I'd like to use. One is 4 x 5 and one is 4.5 x 3.25.
I can't 4x5 paper much less 4.5 x 3.25.
Any suggestions?
ps
I know Ilford makes a 1000 sheet box of 4x5 paper but, that's a little much.
thanx in advance,
joe

Buy eight x ten and cut it up in the darkroom into 4 peices. Then trim it to the smaller size. Unless you have a reason to make prints from negatives that size it really rather useless to use that frame.

Its pretty easy to cut down 8x10 paper under a safelight if you use a paper cutter. I put down tape to form a fence at 4 inchs and 5 inches, as it is a little difficult to see markings under my dim red light.
