How many sheets of Fuji Quickload do you use a year?

Last year I used a total of 40 (Fuji Astia 100F and Fuji Neopan100 Acros).

zero they just cost way to much and since I do not backpack and rarely if ever shoot more than a mile from the car the weight issue is not a problem either

I used about 60 sheets of Kodak Readyloads. Does that count, or is this specifically about Fuji?

This ones about fuji and since I thought Kodak had stopped making theirs it kind of irrelevant unless you are buying fuji.

You can always start another poll about how many kodak sheets would use if they made it again. Or Ilford.

I voted. Last year I used about 175 sheets of Astia and 80 sheets of Acros in Quickloads. I have a bunch of both in the freezer and will miss them when they are gone.

I used about 150-175 160s and rdp3.
I hope they reconsider, i hate traveling with a 20 or 30 4x5 film holders.
I only use regular holders for B&W film and QL for color.
It easier for me to take 5 or 10 regular holders for B&W and a 40 or 60 sheets of 160s QL. Much lighter and easier.
The plus for me is that i can write my exposure notes on the tabs and my lab keeps everything together.

Approx 80- Provia 100F.
Approx 80- Velvia 50.
Approx 40- Velvia 100.
Approx 10- Astia.
Approx 10- 160S.

I shoot predominantly color (perhaps 80%) and use QL's for trips where flight or backpacking is involved, and use regular holders for local shoots and B&W's. Will be sure to assess my stock and place an order in the near future.

OK, I voted.:) Didn't see the poll when I posted.:(

With both Kodak and Fuji out of the RL/QL market, I wonder if it would be worth it for Ilford to get in. I tend to doubt it.

They have already said they won't do it. There simply isn't enough interest.

Very sporadic. Minimum 40/yr; Maximum 300/yr. Avg 180. Mixed Astia and Velvia. Otherwise Tmax for B&W.

Last year was slow due to a layoff, moving etc. but normally about 240 Astia and about 100 Vlevia 50, and 80 RDP. I voted.

I'll probably switch to Portra 160 NC.

I shot 40 last year. 1 box Acros. 1 box 160s. I love Acros and continue to buy it in 10 sheet boxes. Darkslides are a pain though. I might load up on some colour QL just to get a bit more use out of the holder that I forked out for.

Compared to many who've posted on this thread, I've been a light user of QL and only an occasional LF shooter. Work leaves so little time for photography.

The disappearance of QL is a wake up call for me and now I live in fear that other film, especially colour neg might disappear in 4x5 altogether. Kodak Portra 400NC has been my favourite film in 120 for ages yet I've never tried it in 4x5.

New year resolution for Riverman? Get up and shoot more 4x5. A helluva lot more. And buy a changing tent.

I just bought 100 sheets of quickload film (40 x Provia 100, 60 x Acros). I'm hoping this will last me a little while. I might stock up some sheets from B&H just in case. I'm new to LF photography and so am going through film like it's going out of fashion at the moment.

Yeah, pretty pleased! Got to say, Quickload is dangerous to my wallet. It's far too easy to go through sheets of that stuff. Not looking forward to taking all the sheets I've shot to the developers!

ps. LOVE your Slot Canyons series, Kirk!

I'm hearing that Fuji is discontinuing their quick load lines in all formats--are you hearing this? I would be devastated if this is true, as I have been repeatedly by Kodak's discontinuing their film lines.

Between 400 and 600 a year, well, until recently.

I was using 500-1000 Quickloads a year and only Quickloads. Now interested in loading film holders at all. Too much work in the field.

Now with increased lab E-6 processing costs and the fact it seems harder to find deals on it, I dropped to 200 sheets last year. Now I have about 300 sheets in the fridge and I'll have to make them last a long time with Fuji (pulling a Kodak) ending production.

When it's gone. Who knows..........
