I'd really appreciate it if someone that has an 11 1/2" Verito lens could tell me the focal length of the front meniscus element. All you have to do is unscrew the front element and hold it against the wall opposite a room window. Move it back and forward until some distant objects outside are in focus and then measure the distance between the lens and the wall.
I'm going to look for a positive meniscus lens that roughly matches, so I can complete my 11 1/2" Verito lens without a front element. Thanks.
