How does it work? It looks light, under 300g.
I still like my 3531s+ Photoclam multiflex, but in case I just want to have a light backpack. how about P0+ some 1/2 series tripods just for my Chamonix 45? I remember see it somewhere a review about this head with chamonix 45, but I can not find it now.

Thanks Raph, and thanks to google translate.
It looks like fine on Chamonix 45, I dont know how does that compare to Markins Q3 traveler.

If light wieght is your issue you might also consider the Acratech (http://acratech.net/) heads (0.45kg). I use a GV2 with my Chamonix 45N-1 and it works great. Though I prefer my photoclam mulitflex when I can bear the wieght, for long hikes the Acratech is truely a sweet head. And it's easy to clean from grit and dust in inclement conditions with it's open design.
