Has anyone ever experimented with using FX-2 as a 2 bath developer? I have been using Pyrocat HD as 2 bath with some high contrast scenes and have had pretty good success. I looked at the Barry Thornton 2 bath and wondered if some glycin could be included as it does produce very subtle highlights, then I realized that FX-2 already has it. I will probably experiment but just wanted to see if anyone has gone through this before.
Thanks

try this

RD-202
Bath A:
Sodium sulfite 60g
Glycin 7g
Metol 7g
Sodium carbonate 7g
Water 1l
pH 8

Bath B (one shot):
Potassium carbonate 10g
Water 1l

3min in bath A, and 5min in bath B. produce sharp and fine grain negatives
some samples and discussion (http://www.apug.org/forums/forum37/96046-metol-glycin-two-bath-experiment.html)

I've had great success with two bath Pyrocat MC.
What is it not giving you that you want to change?
