I have not found any comparisons.

Schneider Angulons f/6.8 are used to be described as Dagor type/design/formula lenses (they are 6-element, 2-group, symmetric design). Like some Dagors they also suffer (probably even more) from softening of the image close to the edge of the circle of illumination.

Refer it only to images they produce, do you find more differences or similarities between them? Where they in quality and character are the same and where differ?

Dagors cover 70 degrees, 50 if you're picky. Angulons cover close to 90 degrees.

Looking at the design, a reversed Dagor is identical in plan to an Angulon. The reversed Dagor has two symmetrical cemented triplets, with the outside element in each a negative meniscus, the inner element a positive, and the inside element a negative. The Angulon differs only in that the outer elements are larger in diameter than the inner elements, which is what increases their image circle.

The Angulons also benefit from a better glass availability than the original Dagor, making it possible to achromatize them more successfully. The original Dagor was designed in 1892, and the Angulon in 1930.

In fact it was the original Doppel Anastigmat Symmar (released in 1921) that was the real Dagor clone in the Schneider lineup. It wasn't until the 1950s that they changed to the Plasmat formula.
