The "Standard" was Linhofs entry level monorail (in the seventies or eighties, I think). I once bought one because I needed the back for my Kardan Super Color ST. The "Standard" is simple, but solid. The bellows seems to be the weak point. It is permanently attached to the camera (glued), which means you can not use a bag bellows or detach the bellows to fold the camera during transport. The bellows is rather flexible when compressed, so it might be possible to have some movement with a wideangle on a recessed board. I have not tried a Super Angulon 8/65. The camera I "butchered" had a torn bellows - it was a total mess. The bellows on my Color ST is made of the same material and holds up well.

The "Standard" uses lensboards of the Technika type (Technika IV and V, Wista, Shen Hao and others). The back is screwed on, but rotates. The ground glass frame can be taken off to use most Graflok accessories.

Good luck with your decision!

A super camera because nothing takes off, nothing hangs out. I used two for 15 years. If you don't use long lenses, saw the rail in half.
