Have you perhaps done a search of past threads re: your lens? All your questions regarding coverage should be answered there.

I can pop mine on a big camera when I get home if you like, but IIRC past posts indicate 11x14 illumination with little or no movement.

Now allegedly this is an Artar-type dialyte (it is a 4/4 lens), and the minimum focal length Artar Goerz recommended at infinity was 16-1/2" or 420mm.

The only way I can resolve Goerz' recommendations versus reports of actual "coverage" is that maybe Goerz was using distortion and not resolution (esp regarding contact printing) or illumination since they were designed as repro lenses. That's a WAG though.

Cheers, Steve

I didn't tell you, but I will now. all the Kowa Graphics (same as APO Computars) from 150mm through 300 mm had coverages of enough for around 85 degrees. The single exception was the 360mm which was designed specifically for a vetical graphic arts camera system that was intended for only 5x7 and smaller.

The one I had covered 11X14 just fine. Slightly less than a 355mm G-Claron, but no problem at all on 11X14.

"covers 5x7 with generous movements"
