The Midwest Large Format Asylum will hold its December outing on the 19th as we head to the Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay, Wisconsin (373 West Geneva Street). You can read more about the observatory at astro.uchicago.edu. We are trying to arrange to shoot inside.

We will meet for an 8:00 am breakfast at Big Daddy Maxwell's a on Route 67 (150 Elkhorn Road, Williams Bay, WI).

You can read more on the planning of this outing in the forum section at www.midwestlargeformat.com

Also, we are only 1 month away from our 3rd annual print & portfolio review in Chesterton, Indiana on January 23rd. If you love looking at images made with LF cameras, this will be the place to be. Again, more information is posted on the website.

Hope you can join us.

Everything is set for the outing to Yerkes tomorrow. We should be able to get access to the inside & the big telescope with a small donation. If you live anywhere close to northern Illinois or southern Wisconsin, we hope you will consider joining us.
