As I start to scan more negs, I am wonder how most people have found they get the cleanest negs before scanning.
Currently, I have a large piece of glass on which I lay the negative down, I wipe it down with Edwal anti static negative cleaner, flip the negs on a clean unused section of the glass to the right and do the same.
Then I lay the neg down into its oil batch on the scanner, but there is still more dust than I expected to spot.
Thoughts on the best workflow?
