Just came across this forum during my quest of knowledge. I recently acquired a Galvin 2X3 in a box of stuff I bought off Ebay for my Mamiya Press Universal kit.
The camera is in like new condition. I don't think it was ever used and came with the original lensboard. I've always wanted a view camera and now I have one in a format I like. I have joined several forums and each offers so much info I'm almost overloaded. Yes, I belong to the medium format forum as well, but now, as I own a view camera I'll need more appropiate guidance and information. Questions will be coming.

Welcome to group therepy! :) The Galvin is a nice camera and will do all you need a view camera to do...except produce really big negatives!!! :) But that's not really essential most of the time. You might even be able to find a way to adapt your Mamaya roll film holders to it! If not, I'm pretty sure that Graphic roll holders will work on the Galvin. Shoot lots, have fun!
