Since no advice came yet, I could suggest to contact some e-bay seller of Chinese film or cameras, I have seen them give out physical store addresses in past

There is a brand of sheet film named Shanghai, no? Truth in advertising would dictate that they have a factory not far from where you are. :)

Yes, they do have a factory there. I buy their film off ebay, but I have never seen 8x10 for sale (they do have 5x7). Shanghai is okay film, and for folks outside the US, it is much cheaper, as the shipping charges from Shanghai are less than those from the US.

There is a Chinese 8x10 film called ERA (don't know if it's the same as Shanghai or not)

There is a seller on the auction site that has Shanghai in 8x10 right now.

Oh. That's good to hear. I've been pushing that for a while. Now I will have to buy an 8x10...

Thanks for the suggestion about checking on e-bay. I did find one seller there (who I have dealt with via e-bay with excellent service). Unfortunately I am now stateside and didn't get the chance to drop into any LF camera stores in Shanghai.

I was hoping to find 8x10 wooden film holders and perhaps some 4x5 Acros in Q-load. While in Beijing I checked out the camera shops but there was no Acros Q-load to be found.
