Greetings, all. Had to purchase a Crown Graphic 4X5 and give LF a try. I have been re-enamored with film the past year and it seems that is all I shoot now. Can't wait to give it a try and learn from you all.

I develop my own film, b&w and color, and have had a particularly good time experimenting with homemade brews. Have had success with caffenol, a developer made from merlot and even one I made from crushed acorns.

Love to dabble and try new things. This should be fun! -Tom

Welcome to group therepy! Crown makes a nice starting camera...enough movements to learn on, reasonably tough, light enough to pack around...good basic press camera. Have fun with it!

Welcome. Can you elaborate on the merlot and acorn recipes?

Thanks, pretty neat. Sort of cannibalistic. Shoot the developer then consume it. :)
