Just idle curiosity. Seems like it would be an impressive panoramic format and film would be fairly available (just cut 20x24 in half)...(I tried it but I got 12x20 sheets...:rolleyes: )

From one idle thinker to another:
You can get ortho xray film in 14x36, so I'm thinking about that.
Also, 20x24 with six sheets of 8x10....

Okay, while I wait for a carbon print to transfer I can put my .02 worth to this. Cutting down x-ray film is not an option unless you like scratches. The stuff is very very fragile. So, looks like you have to make the 14x36" camera instead!

try cutting the other direction:cool:

I had an inquiry about building one, but my would-be customers interest seems to have waned.
We supplied a prototype S&S 10X24" holder to a photographer in Asia who is interested in having a camera this size made. Have someone else in the US interested in the same size right now.l

Just shoot 8x20 and make enlargements :p Oh, on second thought that would result in 10x25 images :eek:
