I just happened upon the guide to 11x14 cameras. It mentioned Wisner and Canham as the current suppliers of this format. To update, Wisner is semi retired, and not as far as I know, taking new orders. There are a few other manufacturers not mentioned. Ebony makes an 11x14 as do Lotus and Tachihara. It should also be mentioned that Schneider now makes very sharp lenses for formats up to 20x24, the 550XXL and 1100XXL. Film is a bit of a problem. Sheets that size are made by Efke, Maco (Rollei R3), and Ilford. HP5 is stocked at the US importer, FP4 is available on special order. Alan Brubaker does indeed make excellent holders, as do Lotus, and now Ebony.

Richard Ritter maikes an 11x14 that, when the bug bites, you can swap backs for anything up to about 20x24, and it weighs half of anything else in the market.

Welllllll
I hate to mention this in a thread that mention$ those great len$e$, and cameras, but 11x14 is still a standard Xray film size, easily available, incredibly INexpensive, and perhaps too plebian [for this thread]. Basically- you can't keep us common folks out of ULF :>), cuz we'll build what we can't afford.
