Hi, I'm looking at a Rodenstock Sironar-N 240mm F5.6 MC on eBay, does anyone know if this lens covers the 10x8 format?

It does, with an image circle of 350mm.

Yes, it does. I had one for my 8x10 outfit for awhile. I liked it. At the time I sold it, I had decided to put the 8x10 aside for awhile and was putting together a Hasselblad outfit. So, the second lens for the 8x10 had to go.

I have never used a lot of movements (usually a little bit of rise and maybe a little shift to fine tune the composition) so I can only say that it covered what I did. 300mm circle is pretty much the minimum for 8x10 so, with 350mm, the Rodenstock 240 should have enough coverage for many situations.
